DPP-Assignment Three; Corrections

Assignment Three – Corrections

The following are the corrections I have made in response to my tutors feedback.

Image Two;
I completely agree with my tutor saying that there needs to be more sky at the top of the image to hold the eye, this is the image I was trying to achieve, as I didn’t have my wide angle and the objectivity of the assignment was to create an image that did not need much editing, so I couldn’t do a stitch shot, however, I did take some different view points and here is the one that best fits the tutors expectations.

Image Three;
My tutor would have preferred this image to be cropped in to a square, I tried to do it, however, when I cropped it to a square, it didn’t quite work, the image lost its lustre and depth. I had, again, taken a photograph with a different view point, which I believe works a lot better.

Image Four;
I just needed to re adjust the image by rotation it, to stop the buildings looking like they leaned in towards the river, I found it difficult to do, due to trying to keep the bridge curved. This is the final result and I feel that I managed to do it in the end.

Image Five;
As with Image Two, the suggestion was to crop it to square, but again, I have got another shot of the bridge, it’s not as sharp as the other image, but I believe this image works better as a long vertical shot and the bottom of the image works better in this one.

Image Six;
The suggestion was to have a closer shot to see that padlocks are involved, this is an image that I took, in which have a close up shot of the padlocks.
